the cautionary tale of horrid ham carver
MY MUM ALWAYS SAID 'there’s a story in a pie. There’s a story in every pie you make’
Ham Carver is a modern retelling of an old Dickens classic – the tale of two sisters who get their own back on a murderous emperor, and avenge his lusty gluttony by serving him one final, fatal meal.
As you take your seats, our storytellers roll up their sleeves, dig out their baking bowls, and tell a stomach turning tale while they bake a pie of enormous proportions (with a rather suspicious filling).
‘A wonderful fantasy’ (Tom Spencer, Artistic Director, Fine Chisel)
‘An absolute treat – ace storytelling in a great setting’ (Paul Smith, Middle Child)
